👶 Newborn baby girl
On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, around 5 p.m., a newborn baby girl was discovered by locals in Ampangabe, a village in the Imerintsiatosika commune, Arivonimamo district. According to witnesses, the child was delivered into a hole by her mother, then subjected to violence before being left behind—still alive.
Thankfully, a firewood collector found her, and with the help of the community, they quickly called for help and rescued her from a tragic fate.
On Friday, November 1, 2024, the Felana Maitso Center took over her full care. She was given immediate medical attention and special support from the center’s dedicated team.
Now, within the Felana Maitso Center, she begins her life again — with safety, care, education, and above all, love.
